We are offering riding lessons for ages 8 years and up. Beginners Basics include Safety (learning how to approach the horse).  Learning how to work with the horse including haltering, walking around the horse, grooming, how to handle the feet and preparing to ride and more.                                                                                                                                              

Intermediate Riders will learn to control the horse at a walk, trot and canter, learn how to control the horse in the inside arena and outside arena as well as in the pastures and trails.  Riders will learn to ride and control different horses and ride in groups and well as play games.                                                                                                                                                                                 

Advanced riders will have the ability to tack up and ride as well as determine the temperaments. moods and feelings of a horse and how the horse communicates.    

THE ABOVE IS NOT A COMPLETE LIST OF TRAINING AS OUR GOAL IS TO HELP THE EQUESTRIAN TO BE SAFE, COMFORTABLE AND CONFIDENT IN THE SPORT OF HORSEBACK RIDING.  THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE HORSE AND RIDER SHOULD BE A REWARDING, ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE FOR BOTH THE RIDER AND THE HORSE.    

                    **Lessons start in the Spring (April/May) and go until the weather is too cold for students and the horses.
